- Take the chana daal in a pressure cooker
- Fill it up with twice the amount of water
- Grind the fennel seeds, peppercorn, cinnamon sticks and cloves in the pestle
- Add the ground mixture to the cooker and let it cook until one whistle.
- Open the cooker and add jaggery
- Mash all the ingredients together
- This mixture is called Puran
- Now mix the two flours, add ghee milk and water and knead
- Put a pan on the hob and roll a small portion of the flour

Put the puran mixture in, close the side and roll
- Put on a heated pan and let it cook from both sides, apply ghee to both sides as well
- Enjoy delicious Puran Poli
